Hello people. I'm about to open a cod 4 server for Linux, it's my first time and I do not understand much, so I searched and found this video

I wanted to know if this video can help me? and if it is the same with version 1.8 .another query more ... can I upload the game via ftp?

You dont need to upload the game through ftp just download the game directly from terminal then extract it and change the cod4x binaries bc they are old.

wget http://files.linuxgsm.com/CallOfDuty4/cod4x18_dedrun.tar.bz2

tar -xjvf cod4x18_dedrun.tar.bz2
