Hi, in this tutorial you will learn how to use LCeffects. 1. Copy all files from lceffects.rar to X:\Activision\Games\Call Of Duty 4\players 2. Turn on CoD4 and do bind /bind X viewpos (or add to config) 3. Choose which mod you want to record or to experiment with effects, suppose that this is promodlive204. 4. Launch game on our map (EFFECT WORKS ONLY IN DEVMAP MODE /devmap mp_mapname)! 5. Next type /logfile 1, go to spectator mode and press the bind viewpos every time we want to make new position for the camera (on the map enough 15-25 positions) 6. When finished selecting the positions we turn off our game by typing /quit and then enter to the folder X:\Activision\Games\Call of Duty 4\mods\CHOSEN_MOD\and look for the file console_mp.log 7. In the file console_mp.log look at the bottom of something like this:

We delete each parenthesis hhof colon next and spaces beside colon ( ) or it is obliged to look it it so as

613 -2190 -159 81 11 8. Paste our previously corrected positions (Paragraph 7) to file coords.txt located in the folder X:\Activision\Games\Call Of Duty 4\player 9. Turn on a program called lceffects.exe go to options, choose 3Dspline then the program asks for options, they should look as follows in the picture below.
10. Click OK and disable the program completely and enter to the folder X:\Activision\Games\Call Of Duty 4\players and look 3DSpline.cfg 11. Copy 3DSpline.cfg and Paste to the folder X:\Activision\Games\Call Of Duty 4\main , next turn on the game. 12. Turn on the map so that way /devmap mp_mapname and go in spectator mode or write in console /ufo; cg_drawgun 0; cg_drawcrosshair 0; ui_hud_hardcore 1 13. W konsoli wpisujemy PO KOLEI ! (Inaczej nie zadzia³a) /exec 3DSpline.cfg /vstr flyg1
In the console type IN THE CORRECT ORDER! (Otherwise it will not work) /exec 3DSpline.cfg /vstr flyg1 14. Enjoy your nice camera :)

dynamic 03/02/2012 20:06 @steve_1337 You just have to try it... When i had my 9500 GT it was huge difference in all the tweaks.. like 30-50 fps. i can swear. You just must have low gfx card to see it.
